To OKC

Leaving Albuquerque
We wrapped up our stay at Sticky Fingers after a sound night of sleep with a delicious brunch of blueberry beer bread and eggs. The Airstream also has an eight-track player, so we listened to the "top 20 songs" of the eight-track era.

They also had decor that felt oddly familiar...

Oklahoma City
Apparently Oklahoma City is going through somewhat of a food renaissance. We were only able to snag dinner from Cheevers, which was good although quite rich. Our salad, roasted chicken & pepperjack strudel (!), and chicken fried steak (!!) is really the meal I wanted after backpacking, but it was still good two nights on.
Carrie and I were ready to be home. I posted about the Graaaaaaand Canyon later that night and we hit the hay. It would be fun to head back to spend the weekend in OKC -- apparently the coffee there is pretty good, too.
