What an awesome trip so far, and I've read every word and looked over every picture. I can't wait for the next installments! And to think, we have great wedding day photos to see as well. Hope both of you are doing fine. Jefferson and I returned early, happy and with knowing much more about each other, ourselves, and what we want with camping.

After reading your journal up through Dolan Springs, I wanted to remind Carrie of the altitude sickness she and Matt got in Breckenridge many years ago. Sounds like she is still bothered. The solution is water, water water! Drink twice what you think you need. Yosemite will be a struggle if you don't stay hydrated. Hope that is helpful and you both have a lovely wedding day with no altitude sickness!

Going through life with a companion whom you deeply love and are committed to is a gift and we both are thankful that the two of you have found each other . Truman, welcome to this wonderful family. I'm guessing by now, after 10 yrs, you know everyones names . Take good care of my niece, and hopefully as Carrie brings your slippers and rubs your neck daily, she will do so with the same smile Vera has always worn. Carrie, immense patience on Vera's part has been key to our success and though Truman may test you less due to his steady hand, a little patience comes in handy.
