Thank you all for your kind, inspiring, joyful words. We loved reading each note and felt like we were able to carry everyone with us while we journeyed across the country. Your thoughts are archived here; we look back on them fondly.

You both look beautiful! What a perfect way to celebrate your love for each other in your own way! This feels like so perfectly you two! Your pictures are beautiful, the poem was beautiful, and I could feel your feelings/sentiments through every word and picture!
I am SO happy for both of you and hope we can find a safe way to celebrate soon!
Safe travels to both of you! Can't wait to continue to follow along!

WOW! What an amazing wedding adventure you are having! I am really enjoying everything you are writing Truman (all smiles while I scroll). I really admire the way you've handled everything about your wedding and your trip. It's honestly heart warming and inspiring. I believe you two are going to have a great (and fun) future together. I can't wait to see more pictures, especially of the wedding. BTW, Ive hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and slept under the stars at the bottom. You will love the experience, but boy...that climb back up, phew!

Becca and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. May this trip be the first of many great memories to come! It's been a joy following your journey from afar—know that we are 100% living vicariously through you from our tiny children filled bubble in Chicago. It probably goes without saying, but enjoy the rest of your trip and travel safe.
Your friends,
The Lavin's
P.S. I look forward to more updates—particularly ones that include your wonderful urban hat.

If loving a person was all you could do
The ocean is blue because the sky is blue
The plants of the earth sway to their truth
A beckoning motion that's calling for you
If you had a girl that was falling for you
You'd cradle her head when she's feeling blue
You'd tell her real sweetly, 'I've been waiting for you,
the hand, the ocean, the sky, and the truth'
You'd see behind windows the man is a boy
A sweetly serious, goofy boy
'Waiting for you, I've been waiting for you
Drifting in water 'til you swam through'
A lone lost wild singing refrain
'What is your name' again and again
And seeing you sitting upon a pine log
Hoping to god that you're not a frog
If loving a person was all you could do
I'd wish in this world there was only you
The ocean, the grasslands, the mountains, the blue
Are all for each other
I am for you

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your journal just now and look forward to other entries. Love your writing Truman!
I am totally with you about the scorpions! They, along with other undesirable spiders lurk here in Austin. They better never enter this house or, frankly, my path! I am not equipped to deal with it.
I love that everything about your trip and plans you have made so special.
Bill and I wish you every happiness and appreciate being able to share in your celebration/adventure through this journal.
Sending love and early congratulations for tomorrow's big day!

The one thing that Eric and I try to always do is use the terms "we" and "our" instead of "I" and "mine".
Blessings on your marriage,

Going through life with a companion whom you deeply love and are committed to is a gift and we both are thankful that the two of you have found each other . Truman, welcome to this wonderful family. I'm guessing by now, after 10 yrs, you know everyones names . Take good care of my niece, and hopefully as Carrie brings your slippers and rubs your neck daily, she will do so with the same smile Vera has always worn. Carrie, immense patience on Vera's part has been key to our success and though Truman may test you less due to his steady hand, a little patience comes in handy.
Congrats, best wishes and love ..... lets celebrate together soon ! Brian and Vera
